Who is Tristan?
A pen name, of course. But, it's already a known fact that the author's adventures in the land of his books often beget mystery.
As a writer he is on his second volume. He made his debut with the volume "Step Hourglass", published by For You, 2006. The book is an amalgam of essays about lifetime journeys, life and the dreams that keep us alive.
Tristan believes in the sapiential valence of play: he writes by playing seriously and plays by writing seriously. Some can live stories they cannot write, others write stories they cannot live. And there are some who try both. Tristan writes lived stories. By him? Others? Does anyone else know? Does it matter?
The author imagines possible and impossible loves, probably in the 21st century, but with a borderless eroticism, with a bold fragrance of a thousand and one nights.
